GamoBlog: About Me
Hey! Welcome to GamoBlog. I'm Joaquín Gamonal, sometimes called Joa or Joaco, but most people know me as Gamo. I'm an Information Systems Engineering student at UNS (Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires, Argentina) and a computer nerd :)
I run a stack of servers at home that acts as a learning environment for my career. I stream movies, host games, experiment with machine learning, distributed file systems, large language models and even tried a Cloud Gaming business (à la Geforce NOW) and a game-server hosting business, among a lot of other things. Here I document what I build, break, and fix.
I have a habit of prefixing my name Gamo to everything, makes my tech feel more... personal 😄, so you may find a few of my posts prefixed like that.
On this blog, I discuss my homelab hardware, the software stack I rely on, and the automations that simplify my daily life. Occasionally, I'll also write about gaming-related content 😛.
If you have any questions in one of my posts, feel free to leave a comment 😄. If anything, you can contact me by email
